Ich habe die Wikipedia als Autor von med.-wiss. Beiträgen verlassen. Ich werde hier zwei Arten von Einträgen begründen:

Reguläre Artikel mit teils extremen Nischenthemen

Eine auf einen erheblichen Umfang angelegte Sammlung von Artikeln, die i.w. 'nur' auf themenspezifische Reviews verweisen, welche nach Möglichkeit als freier Volltext verfügbar sind. Die Identifikation der Reviews erfolgt 'rückwärts', d.h. durch systematische Sichtung der Reviews geeignerter Journale, für welche ich dann passende Lemmata anlege. Eine Kurzkommentierung i.S. einer Fußnote ist prinzipiell vorgesehen. Naturgemäß sind diese entstehenden Eintragungen im Wachsen begriffen, und naturgemäß kann die Erstellung von 'richtigen' Artikeln in der antizipierten Größenordnung von 10^4 Stück niemand leisten. Durch ein vorhandenes Spezialprogramm kann ich einiges automatisieren. Strukturell wäre dieses Vorgehen in der Wikipedia aus zwei Gründen nicht möglich: fehlender Inhalt und Nichterreichen jeglicher minimaler Relevanzkriterien, nachdem ich efahren habe, daß selbst pharmakologisch-experimentelle Leitsubstanzen exkludiert werden. Mit dieser systematischen Artikelfülle wird es einfach sein, zu einem gewählten Thema einen (Einstiegs-)Artikel zu finden, ohne jeweils eine Medline Recherche im Umfang von teils tausenden Eintragungen zu fahren. Naturgemäß werden die ausgewählten Reviews niemals kompetitiv gewählt sein können wegen des invertierten Identifikationsvorgehens.

Medizinische Artikel deren Lemmatazuornung erfolgt ist die aber noch nicht heraufgeladen werden können enthält vorab tagesaktuell neue Zitationen für bekannte oder neue Lemmata; zunächst wird diese Liste erstellt, Anfang 2011 werden die PP Artikel dementsprechend ergänzt.
